After spending another family get-together this weekend that ought to have included my mother, my mind was already aswirl with thoughts of loss, and passing time.
Then we came home to a phone call telling us that we’d lost a dear friend.
I’m not much in the mood to write tonight. Just in the mood to hug my family and keep them close. Do the same with those you love.
